1. The KDU-1 pressure calibrator is intended for pressure reproduction during inspection or calibration
measuring transducers of absolute and differential pressure, which are part of the gas metering devices
or liquids and to the composition of measuring systems and complexes, including FLOUTEK-TM measuring and control complexes.
At the same time, differential pressure converters can be under pressure, equal to the working excess pressure
in the pipeline in which the differential pressure measurement is performed.
2. The pressure calibrator KDU-1 is manufactured in a portable version for the convenience of its delivery to the place of inspection
(calibration) of transducers. The body of the calibrator is made in the form of a suitcase with a hinged lid and a handle for
transfer of the calibrator.
3. The KDU-1 pressure calibrator is explosion-proof and is intended for operation in explosive open areas
industrial sites and premises where the formation of explosive mixtures of categories IIA and IIB is possible.
4. The KDU-1 pressure calibrator is produced according to the technical conditions of TU U 73.1-31283392-003-2004.
1. Upper limits of pressure reproduction
are set when configuring the calibrator according to the order:
• absolute pressure - 0.7 MPa; 1.6 MPa; and 2.5 MPa;
• differential pressure - 6.3 kPa and 63 kPa.
When the differential pressure is reproduced in the pneumatic system of the calibrator, the excessive pressure in the range is reproduced
from 0 to 1.5 MPa according to the order.
2. Limits of the main reduced, permissible errors of the calibrator in percentage of the subrange of reproductions at
ambient air temperature (20 ± 2) °C is 0.025% when playing:
absolute pressure in the subranges:
- from 0.02 to 0.7 MPa
- from 0.7 to 1.6 MPa
- from 0.7 to 2.5 MPa
• differential pressure in the subranges:
- from 0 to 6.3 kPa
- from 6.3 to 63 kPa.
3. Parameters of the electrical code output signal of the calibrator, designed to implement information exchange
with a PC when configuring the calibrator, correspond to the signal of the Bell202 standard in accordance with the format
open digital HART protocol. The signal is transmitted through an electrical line through which direct current flows,
consumed by the calibrator.
4. The KDU-1 pressure calibrator is powered by an external DC power source,
which has the following technical characteristics:
• value of the output voltage - in the range from 14.5 to 30 V;
• ripple of the output voltage in the frequency range from 47 to 125 Hz - no more than 0.2 V double amplitude value
with a load current of 50 mA;
• the voltage value of inherent noise in the frequency range from 500 Hz to 10 kHz - no more than 1.2 mV (effective value);
• output impedance - no more than 10 Ohms with a load current of up to 100 mA.
5. The power consumption of the KDU-1 pressure calibrator is no more than 1 W.
6. Operation of the KDU-1 pressure calibrator is allowed under the following conditions:
• ambient air temperature - (20 ±2) °С;
• relative humidity - up to 80%;
• atmospheric pressure - from 84 to 107 kPa (from 630 to 800 mm Hg);
• external electric and magnetic fields (except Earth), vibration and shaking are within limits that do not affect
for the work of the calibrator;
• working position - horizontal, with the control panel up.
7. The overall dimensions of the KDU-1 pressure calibrator do not exceed 500 x 400 x 190 mm
8. The weight of the KDU-1 pressure calibrator does not exceed 13 kg.
9. The service life of the KDU-1 pressure calibrator is 12 years.
